The Coryell County Economic Development Board is in the business of stimulating and enhancing Coryell County's long-term properity and quality of life. This means:
- Proactively promoting economic development and improvements of all business conditions, including industrial and commercial development, tourism, job creation/retention, and job training.
- Providing direction and coordination with public agencies and private organizations, and securing resourses to promote the economic development of the greater Coryell County area.
- Providing direction and coordination with Fort Hood to foster continuing support and economic stimulus and further growth and sustainability of Fort Hood.
- Being a model of community success and service.
