Jack Barcroft was raised in Gatesville and has a successful career in online start-ups mainly focusing on contingent labor sourcing. His professional roles have mainly focused on sales and business development. He is active in the community on both a local and countywide scale through various non-profit organizations. Improving Coryell County for the next generation is his number one goal.
Ira Brand is a graduate of The University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science Social Work. After retiring from the Army in 1993, he began his financial services career with MetLife Financial Services then he joined Edward Jones Financial Services in 2001 before opening his Allstate office in Copperas Cove in 2007.
In 2014 he was voted “Best Insurance Agency” by the readers of The Killeen Daily Herald newspaper. As a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Ira is active in doing good things for the community. Ira resides in Copperas Cove with his wife Klaudia.
Married to a retired officer and Central Texas resident since 1960, and business owner in the contracting, construction, and hospitality sectors.
Barbara has participated in special projects, served on various foundations and boards and has demonstrated an active interest in advancing and positively influencing the region in which she lives.
Barbara is a Gatesville City Councilwoman and also serves on the Gatesville Economic Development Board.
Mary Beth Harrell
Mary Beth Harrell is an attorney with law offices in Gatesville and Killeen. She serves on the District Development board of Central Texas (CTCOG). Harrell taught Business Law at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and was a featured speaker at the Central Texas Business Women's Exposition.
Harrell is past president of the Coryell County Bar Association; served on the boards for the Gatesville Lions Club, Boys and Girls Club, American Cancer Society, and Central Texas Children's Advocacy Center. Harrell has produced and hosted a talk show on KNCT-TV. She founded two non-profit animal rescue organizations. Harrell resides in Gatesville.
Rick Kirkpatrick is the Deputy Superintendent for Copperas Cove ISD. In this capacity, he supports the Superintendent of Schools in the planning, operation, supervision and evaluation of the education programs, services and facilities of the district and assists in the annual appraisal of district staff.
Rick was named deputy superintendent in July 2012, in a unanimous 7-0 vote of the CCISD Board of Trustees. He assumed the position immediately, ending his time as Copperas Cove High School principal, where he had been since 2009. Kirkpatrick also served as a Junior High Principal, Assistant Principal, Teacher and Coach. An educator since 1993, Kirkpatrick earned his bachelor degree from the University of Texas at Austin and holds a Master's degree in Education Administration.
Eric Kietzer is a native of Coryell County where attended Gatesville High School graduating in 1985. Eric attended the University of Mary Hardin Baylor studying Business Management and received a Bachelors of Business Administration in 1990.
The Auto industry attracted and kept Eric employed in Bell County for 20 years until he returned home to Gatesville where he serves as Vice President of The National Bank in 2010. Eric and his spouse have 2 children and it is their future that prompts him to serve on the County Economic Development Board so they will have a brighter future.
Bill Luther is the Human Resource Manager for Laerdal Medical Corporation in Gatesville, Texas. He has held that position since June 2005. He is also a member of the Manufacturing Gatesville Senior Management Team.Prior to joining Laerdal, Bill held various human resource positions for Danka Services International and Pitney Bowes.
Bill is also retired from the United States Air Force.Bill has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with honors and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from the University of Central Texas. He is also a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
